Lakshmi considers the opportunity as a jackpot and a means to get Arjun out of her life. On insisted by Arjun, Lakshmi tears the cheque. Arjun shows the torn cheque to Rajwardhan and tells him that money cannot buy his love. An adamant Rajwardhan gets furious on Arjun and asks him to leave the house if he does not agree to marry Purwa. Arjun decides to leave the house. Dadi and Renuka try to calm Arjun and Rajwardhan but fail.
